In 2018 Vanier Co-operative Childcare Centre sought Ottawa-Hull catering options to ensure nutritionally balanced Canada Food Guide requirements, diverse lunch menu with an international flare, specialized diet for unique allergies/intolerances, consistent delivery both in quality controls AND daily delivery schedule. Although not necessarily observed as demanding, Ministry of Education’s Child Care & Early Years Act regulations for Nutrition and Ottawa Public Health guidelines for its Food By-Laws are critical for meeting compliance for young children’s needs, overall health & wellbeing.
